Planned Giving

Create a Lasting Legacy

Including DVRC in your will, trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy, or other estate plan can help ensure that survivors have access to safety and support for generations to come. The 1978 Legacy Society recognizes individuals who have informed DVRC of a planned gift.

  • Bequest through a will or living trust
  • Beneficiary designation on a retirement account or life insurance policy
  • Charitable trust or other planned arrangement
  • Gift of real estate or other appreciated property, subject to DVRC review and acceptance

Please consult your attorney, financial advisor, or tax professional. DVRC does not provide legal or tax advice. If you have included DVRC in your plans, contact us at 401-782-3995 or info@dvrcsc.org so we may thank you and, if you wish, welcome you to the 1978 Legacy Society.

Fundraise

Engage Your Community

Host a Community or Third-Party Fundraiser

Turn a gathering, business promotion, workplace activity, or personal milestone into support for survivors. Ideas include restaurant give-back nights, percentage-of-sales promotions, fitness or wellness events, trivia or paint nights, school or workplace challenges, and birthday fundraisers. Submit the Third-Party Fundraiser Proposal before publicizing your event so DVRC can review the use of its name and logo and discuss available support.
