Residential Programs

Confidential Safe Shelter, Transitional Housing, and Permanent Supportive Housing.

Emergency Safe Shelter (Safe Home)

The Emergency Shelter program addresses survivors’ immediate safety and basic needs by providing secure, confidential shelter, food, and essential resources. Residents are offered comprehensive wraparound services, including individual advocacy, support groups, counseling, and case management. Services are delivered through a trauma-informed and empowerment-based framework to support stabilization and promote long-term safety and well-being.

Transitional Housing

DVRC’s Transitional Housing program supports survivors of domestic violence and their children in achieving sustainable independence while continuing to access case-management and other supportive services. This program serves as a critical bridge between emergency shelter and permanent housing, promoting economic stability, housing security, and autonomy. Participants may reside in program-supported housing at no cost for up to two years while working towards individualized goals and financial security.

Permanent Supportive Housing

The DVRC provides Permanent Supportive Housing within the South County community offering long-term, safe, stable, and affordable housing for survivors and their children. This program integrates housing stability with ongoing supportive services to promote sustained independence, emotional well-being, and family stabilization. The restorative nature of stable housing can contribute to improved mental health outcomes, enhanced coping and resilience, increased sense of security, and an overall improved quality of life for survivors and their families.
