Helpline & Drop-In Center

Confidential support is available through our Helpline and Drop-In Center.

Helpline

The DVRC helpline provides confidential, survivor-centered support and intervention to individuals experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault. The primary purpose of the helpline is to offer immediate crisis response, emotional support, and information related to safety planning, court processes, and available community resources.

Advocates utilize a trauma informed approach to connect survivors with trained professionals who can assist in navigating complex and often high-risk situations, including accessing emergency shelter, counseling services and court advocacy. The helpline serves as a critical access point, empowering survivors and their loved ones to make informed decisions and take steps towards safety, autonomy, and healing.

Drop-in Center

The DVRC Drop-in Center offers a safe, confidential, and accessible environment where survivors and their loved ones can receive immediate support and resource navigation. This low-barrier access point allows individuals to engage with trained advocates who provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered guidance in navigating the complexities of leaving or remaining safe within abusive relationships. Services are designed to support both immediate stabilization and long-term healing, fostering pathways towards safety, self-sufficiency, and empowerment.
